Philippine Stock Exchange

Client Ayala Land Premier
Location Manila, Philippines
Project Type Commercial
Status Completed in 2018

The Stock Exchange Tower presents an inflected glazed “frontpiece” to the main commercial avenue.

Located in Bonifacio Global City in Manila, the new Philippine Stock Exchange tower is a 30-story office building that unifies trading floors which were previously located at separate sites in Manila. Designed for Ayala Land Premier, the 538,000 sq. ft. (50,000 m2) glass tower serves as the headquarters for the Philippine Stock Exchange, and is part of a larger mixed-use development called One Bonifacio High Street, which also includes The Suites, a 63-story residential tower, and a 291,000 sq. ft. (27,000 m2) retail mall.

The project is located directly adjacent to the Shangri-La at the Fort, also designed by Handel Architects, and the materials and massing are intended to be complementary to the Shangri-La. The projects are connected by interior courts that create the effect of a multi-level urban plaza flanking a shared pedestrian retail corridor.
