We are looking for passionate architectural designers with 3-5 years of experience to help start our new Denver studio. This is an opportunity for creative, forward-focused designers to have a leading role in growing a new office location with the resources and support of an established international architecture firm. Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will be self-driven and able to balance self-directed work while also collaborating with fellow employees and reporting to the Project Manager. Responsibilities will include design and production at all phases from concept to construction administration, including but not limited to: space layout, unit planning, building massing, façade iterations, amenity design, consultant coordination, technical detailing, client meetings, interior design, and site visits. Candidates will be responsible for contributing creative design ideas and helping realize them. This is an opportunity to work on projects in Denver as well as New York City, San Francisco and beyond.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of professional experience with all phases of architecture projects
  • Professional degree in Architecture
  • Demonstrated experience using Revit through all phases of an architecture project in a professional setting
  • Strong drafting and modeling skills using AutoCAD and Rhino 3D
  • Previous experience with CD-set preparation
  • Strong Adobe CS experience with high comfort in Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign
  • Experience with Microsoft Office including Word and Excel
  • Strong entrepreneurial skills and the ability to work independently; able to self-direct and time-manage while knowing when and how to seek guidance
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate and collaborate with internal teams as well as multidisciplinary teams through effective verbal and written communication
  • Proven critical thinking and problem-solving abilities; able to describe instances of obstacles and how you successfully overcame them in the workplace
  • Organized and detail-oriented
  • Excellent design abilities and graphic representation skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Fluency with Enscape, Grasshopper, and other rendering engines or computational design programs
  • Familiarity with building codes, zoning codes and energy codes
  • Licensure and other accreditations (LEED, CPHD, etc.) are not required but are encouraged
  • Experience with multi-family residential, office and mixed-use high-rise buildings is strongly preferred

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary range: $65,000 - $80,000
