Scott Chisholm, AIA
Associate Principal
Scott Chisholm has nearly 30 years' experience managing complex mixed-use residential and office projects in the U.S. His involvement spans from the early design phase through construction, and he has a strong record of bringing projects in on budget while maintaining high design standards.
Since he joined the firm in 2019, Mr. Chisholm has served as Project Manager for Handel Architects' 1.8M SF mixed-use residential & commercial project, Winthrop Center. Currently under construction, Winthrop Center has been designed to Passive House standards, and when complete will be the largest commercial Passive House building in the world. Above the office portion, 400 luxury residential units will have amazing views of the city. At the base of the project is a grand new public space, the Connector, which will run through the site as a celebratory arcade.
Prior to joining Handel Architects, Mr. Chisholm was a Senior Associate in Perkins Eastman's New York City office, where he worked on a variety of mixed-use projects, including the adaptive reuse of the landmark 250 5th Avenue (originally designed by McKim Mead & White) for Empire Management. He also served as a Senior Associate for Bruner Cott & Associates, based in Boston, and Moshe Safdie & Associates, where his work focused on large-scale office projects, including a United States Federal Courthouse in Springfield, MA.
