288 Pacific’s interiors combine historical and contemporary references to create a distinguished living experience.

288 Pacific's interior design is rooted in the historic vernacular of the Jackson Square neighborhood.

The building lobby, accessed through a discreet doorway, conveys a sense of understated luxury: a rich, dark palette of stone pattern floor, dark painted paneling, antique brass details, patinated metal and wood with fine furnishings in leather and velvet. A custom floating concierge desk echoes the traditional desk found in classic luxury residential buildings or boutique hotels.

Behind two steel framed glass screens, residents find a seating group organized around a large Paonazzo fireplace detailed with an artisan-made plaster mantel. Surrounding the windows, blackened patinated steel is clad on the floor, walls, and ceiling to introduce a soft transition between the historical neighborhood of Jackson Square and the tailored interiors. Art is from renowned Swiss-Italian artist Christian Tagliavini.

Ascending the property, the palette becomes lighter, with tonal references to bridge the gap between the darker lobby and the lighter residences.

The entry sequence in the units is organized around a foyer or a long gallery space ideal for hanging art while providing a sense of drama when opening up to the living space. 7”-wide plank oak floors from France and marble bathrooms create a sophisticated, minimal aesthetic, while still feeling warm and inviting.
