Pierre-Yves Kuhn

Pierre-Yves Kuhn is an architect with extensive experience in mixed-use residential projects, which has been his focus since joining Handel Architects in 2017. He is currently serving as the Project Lead for 200 Spring Garden, a multifamily residential project in the Northern Liberties neighborhood of Philadelphia which will include over 350 rental units.

Prior to that, Mr. Kuhn worked on a high-rise mixed-use tower in Long Island City, Queens that included program for both residential and hotel for two different client groups. Mr. Kuhn also served as Project Lead for Handel Architects’ and Millennium Partners’ pitch to Amazon to bring their headquarters and associated housing to the South Boston Waterfront. Later he served in the same capacity for TF Cornerstone’s pitch to Amazon to bring their headquarters and associated housing to the Long Island City waterfront in New York City.

Prior to joining Handel Architects, Mr. Kuhn worked for Bernard Tschumi Architects in New York City and Paris, and prior to that for Wilmotte & Associates in Paris. Mr. Kuhn received his Masters in Architecture from the University of Strasbourg, France.
