​Shridhuli Solanki

Senior Associate

Shridhuli Solanki is a Senior Associate with more than 20 years of experience. Her projects include a variety of project types including market-rate and affordable residential developments, corporate headquarters, healthcare, higher education, financial institutions, and transportation facilities. Since joining Handel Architects in 2011, she has worked on several projects in New York City and Boston, with a focus on multifamily residential. Currently Ms. Solanki is working on the Construction Administration of Gotham Point in Long island City, New York, a 970,000 sq. ft. mixed-use development. When completed, it will have 75% affordable rental units including senior living residences, market rate rental units, several integrated community facilities, and retail spaces.

Previously Shridhuli served as the Technical Coordinator for Madison House at East 30th Street and Madison Avenue in New York City, a new 400,00 sq. ft. luxury residential tower. She also served as the Technical Coordinator for Millennium tower Boston, a new 1.4 million sq. ft. mixed used building adjoining Handel Architects’ adaptive reuse project the landmarked Filene’s Department Store. Some of her other projects include 170 Amsterdam, a new 237-unit residential exoskeleton building on Manhattan’s Upper West Side, and Millennium Place, a new 256-unit residential building in downtown Boston.

Prior to joining Handel Architects, Shridhuli served as a Technical Designer at Skidmore, Ownings & Merrill (SOM) in New York City, where she was involved with 1 World Trade Center in Lower Manhattan from Schematic Design through Construction Documentation. She also worked on the AIG Tower in Hong Kong, John Jay College of Criminal Justice in New York City, the North Shore Long Island Jewish Women’s Hospital in Long Island, NY, the Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport in Mumbai, India and the Kazkommertsbank Headquarters in Almaty, Kazakhstan.

Shridhuli holds a Master of Architecture from Syracuse University and Bachelor of Fine Arts in Interior Design from Moore College of Art & Design.
